Introduction

Transportation is one of those inevitable things you are going to have to consider. You can only sit in your mom's basement and cry for so long. So when you've come to terms that everyone you know and love has been munched on, you're ready to start a long and fulfilling life of zombie survival. And what's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear zombie survival? Wheels. You need to first start figuring out what's at your disposal. So to help you assess your options, we came up with this handy guide. There are 3 different categories that cover the basic forms of transportation: heavy, light, and plain old fashioned sole power. Let's do a brief overview of each so you get the general idea.
On Foot
The first and most important way to get around is of course on your own two feet. Although zombies are dumb one of the last senses that'll fail them is hearing. This is utterly important to remember because the more noise you make, the more you ring that dinner bell for the legion of the undead. We'll cover important strategies that'll help you get around as ninja-like as possible and hopefully save you from a few stragglers following you home.

Light transportation covers everything from dirt bikes to peddle boats. If it's foot powered or runs on two wheels, it shall lie within this category. Minus the armor, these can be some of the best forms to use when you’re doing quick runs from your shelter. They tend to have speed and silence on their side.
Heavy Transportation
Heavy forms of transportation are any vehicles that can carry 3 or more people. A nice reference is if it's got 4 wheels and it's enclosed it probably goes in this category. Heavy transportation is normally used in situations like store raids and relocations. They are useful in this respect but do not rely on them too much for they can be your downfall. In the post-apocalyptic future, car maintenance will be an even bigger burden, though you'll have plenty to choose from.
